Jonah Cried Out to God

When Jonah found himself in the belly of the fish, in distress, he cried out to God.  His prayer is recorded in Jonah 2.  Jonah didn't ask God for anything.  He didn't cry out in complaint.  He didn't shake his fist at God.  What he did do was praise God.  How  do you respond when you're in distress?
