The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of DefeatSeries: Isaiah
God opens chapter 34 with a call to get the attention of all the nations. God has suffered long with the nations. He is angry. He has had enough. In this portion of Isaiah, we are shown a contrast between those who choose pride and reliance on human allegiances as their priority and those who choose to trust in the God of heaven. Which choice do we make? Will we suffer the agony of defeat or the thrill of victory?
